Storing Files Online
Dropbox
Dropbox is a cloud folder that can be used to share content with your students. As well, students can use the tool to share group work and research.
Pros:
- Uses a common online folder with your students allows you and your students to always have easy, protected access to all files needed in your course.
- Saves time by being able to access your files anywhere, anytime.
Cons:
- Uses an account. An account is required to access your folder and sometimes remembering account information can become challenging.
- Is restrictive. Free accounts are restricted in size to 5 GB of space.
- Requires software. Dropbox software must be downloaded on all computers being used to open your cloud folder.
