  • Create a poll as a group to get an opinion
  • Summarize results, create graph and make a presentation

Preparation:

  • Create poll about subject; have students do the poll before class
    • Create a question such as this example:
      • “Do you feel it is a viable idea to build another bridge in the east end of Edmonton?” Yes or No. (or)
      • “Do you have any environmental concerns around this project?” Yes or No.

    • Write a question that involves a decision (as a small group) about an engineering
    • Project such as, building a new bridge across the Saskatchewan river in Edmonton
