Guest Service Professional

Guest service is the foundation of hospitality and this course explores seven traits and shows students how to go beyond expectations to deliver a high-level of service.

Explore techniques for service-driven telephone skills, how to offer service that is sensitive to the needs of guests with disabilities, and the importance of targeted social media for reputation management.

This course also prepares students for the Certified Guest Service Professional certification exam, which is offered by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.

Managing Casino Slot Operations

Students will learn some of the unique attributes required and challenges involved in managing casino slot operations. This course provides a comprehensive look at departmental organization, machine types, technological trends, floor design and layout, and staffing and customer service issues connected with this area of hospitality.
